Brandy Lynn Simper, Class of 1994
CURRENT LOCATION:
FAMILY LIFE:
I was married July 7, 2000 to Steve Simper in the Las Vegas,
Nevada temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. We had our
reception the next day in Canyon Country, CA. We are currently expecting our
first child to be born early December 2001.
EDUCATION:
I graduated from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, in
August of 1999, with a BA in English and a minor in Communications.
INTERRUPTION:
I interrupted my studies for a year and a half (July
1997-January 1999) to serve as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ
of Latter-day Saints in the Switzerland Geneva mission. During that time I
lived in Lyon, France; Clermont-Ferrand, France; and Geneva, Switzerland.
OTHER TRAVEL:
I spent a week in Thailand enjoying the Thai New Year
festivities in Bangkok in April 2000. While there I also spent my time
relaxing on a tropical beach on Ko Chang (Elephant Island) in the Gulf of
Thailand and exploring the fresh water waterfall in the jungle.
EMPLOYMENT:
I am currently a homemaker. I love my job!
HOBBIES AND INTERESTS:
Genealogy is my most active hobby. Anyone who is interested and
wants to know how to start, let me know. Before genealogy there was
calligraphy˙and it˙s still there for those who need wedding invitations
addressed. But genealogy has become a passion.
THE WEB:
My favorite Web sites are:
FAVORITE BOOKS:
The Greatest Salesman in the World, by Og Mandino
The Adventure of Being a Wife, by Mrs. Norman Vincent Peale
To Draw Closer to God, by Henry B. Eyring
