Curtis A. Wilson, Class of 1987
CURRENT LOCATION:
FAMILY LIFE:
In November 1991, I married a longtime friend,
Sarah Novak. Sarah also grew up in the Saugus area. We have no
children at present. However, we are proud owners of Diego, a
Chihuahua, who feels far from his homeland here in Northern Montana.
EDUCATION:
Since my graduation from high school I have taken
several courses from the University of Wisconsin - Madison, College of
Engineering. I was also involved with an independent study program
through Oklahoma State University. Those courses were specifically
related to the Fire Protection/Suppression Engineering field. I have also
benefited greatly from many public speaking and ministerial training schools.
EMPLOYMENT:
I was a Fire Protection Engineer for about eight
years before our move to the Southern Oregon coast. I also served as a
Notary Public for the State of California. In Oregon, we started a very
profitable janitorial business. While managing that business we started
a second one in Whitefish, Montana. I also drive school bus and charter
coaches for a transportation company here in Whitefish while Sarah
substitute teaches. This work supports us in our career as full-time
ministers.
HOBBIES AND INTERESTS:
This is such a beautiful area in which to live. Sarah and
I like hiking and riding bicycles. I really enjoy golfing on the many beautiful courses here.
Even with the snow, this area provides much in the way of activities. In fact the golf courses
turn into cross-country ski-courses, which Sarah appreciates. We also like traveling through
Canada. The thing that gives us the greatest joy is the time we can spend with family and dear
friends.
