CURRENT LOCATION:
Pleasanton, CA (30 miles from San Francisco)
FAMILY LIFE:
Divorced. Two li'l ones, Michael age 6 and Stephanie age 9
EMPLOYMENT:
Senior R&D engineer for Read-Rite corp. in Milpitas (Silicon Valley). We make those little flying thingies that are used to write and read data in hard disk drives. Previously worked for Micropolis in Chatsworth, but like many high tech companies, it went pththth and sent us packing.
HOBBIES AND INTERESTS:
Trying to keep on top of the ever-changing high tech industry leaves me little time for hobbies (this also partially explains the first word under "family life"). I sometimes dabble with my computer, and enjoy reading. I enjoy travel the most, both business and personal. I travel to LA at least twice a month to be with my kids. Have had the opportunity to visit most of Asia on business (Thailand, China, Hong Kong, Singapore, etc.), and most of the U.S. and Canada (Hey Lee… Remember the wooden VW Hood ornament in Jasper?). I can't seem to get to Europe however, which has always been a dream of mine.
MISCELLANEOUS:
For any of you who have not been back to Valencia/Saugus lately, man has it grown up! Thank God Del Taco is still there though.
