Ethan Haines, Class of 1996
UPDATE:Just thought I'd update my bio page after talking to my classmate and best man Ron Nichols about some other classmates of ours and what they're doing now that many of us are either already 30 or turning 30. Yikes! I'm lucky enough to still be employed by the U.S. Navy. I received my commission as an Ensign and diploma from the U.S. Naval Academy in 2001 and quickly reported to Pensacola, FL for Flight Training. A year and a half later I earned my Wings of Gold as a Naval Aviator where they sent me to San Diego as my first true duty station. Before, I could get out of Florida, I met my Bride to be while she was stationed in Jacksonville, FL as a Navy Nurse. She and I were married a little over 2 years ago here in San Diego after she patiently waited for me to deploy twice to the Western Pacific onboard USS Abraham Lincoln. Now, I'm on my shore rotation after 3 yrs on sea duty and am presently a Weapons and Tactics Instructor for SH-60/HH-60H/MH-60S aircraft stationed at NAS North Island. Colleen and I love it here and should be here for at least a few more years while I work on my Executive Masters of Business Administration from the Naval Postgraduate School. Being a Helo Bubba isn't so bad as long as I can live in America's Finest City not far from home and friends.
