Ingrid (Cresap) Burwell, Class of 1991
CURRENT LOCATION:
FAMILY LIFE:
I married Andrew Burwell in August of 1999. Thanks to the miracles of modern medicine and science
Andy and I became parents in February 2005. Our daughter, Riley, is our pride and joy. She is so much
fun and all she does is so amazing to us. We hope to be able to add to our family soon. In
October 2006, we sold our home and moved to Arizona. The job opportunities are so much
better here for my husband, now that he is done with school, than they are in Salt Lake.
My older brother, Clint and his wife are in San Diego with their three sons. Their daughter passed
away in 2000. Cara and her husband live a Saratoga Hills, Utah. Their second daughter was born
in June 2005, healthy and strong. Their first daughter was born three months early, weighed 1 lb. 13 oz.
and miraculously lived 18 days. Amanda, my youngest sister is in Gilbert, Arizona with her husband
and two daughters and one son and one more on the way. My parents are still in Saugus but have
moved to a larger home to accommodate their growing number of grandkids.
EDUCATION:
I graduated from Brigham Young University April, 1994 with a B.S. in Recreation Administration.
After serving a LDS mission in the Philippines for a year and a half I returned to Brigham Young's
Marriott School of Management for graduate school. I graduated in 1998 with a Master of Public
Administration.
EMPLOYMENT:
After working outside the home for the last eight years I am enjoying staying at
home with Riley. I hope that this will be a permanant position as nothing beats being a
mom. I am looking into doing some more grant writing and possibly teaching private
swim lessons next year.
HOBBIES AND INTERESTS:
When the weather is good I enjoy camping, swimming and bike riding. Decorating, reading,
gardening, sewing, movies, and shopping are favorite activities as well. Of course, my
greatest interests are spending time with Andy and Riley as well as visiting my
family. I would love to hear from old friends.
