FAMILY LIFE:
I'm engaged to a college sweetheart from my UCLA days. I will
be married on August 31, 1997. We have a cat.
EDUCATION:
I graduated from UCLA in 1993. Currently I am attending
law school at Columbia University, working towards my J.D. I've externed for a federal
court judge in the southern district of New York, participated in a trial practice course, and
was a semi-finalist in the Stone Honor Moot Court Competition. I am participating in the legal
education program, where we teach substantive areas of the
law to high school students in Harlem. I am administrative editor of the journal of
environmental law. Next semester I will participate in the Fair Housing Clinic and
the criminal court externship.
EMPLOYMENT:
I will be working for a Washington, DC law firm after I graduate.
HOBBIES AND INTERESTS:
I've been trying to read non-legal texts, fiction and
contemporary nonfiction. I've been trying to pick up racquetball and tennis. I like
exploring New York City (including dragging my fiancee to the opera). I even sang in
the Law School cabaret show with a friend of mine.
