FAMILY LIFE:
I am currently living with my girlfriend and three cats (Nicholas, Smokey and Cuestick). My mother died in October 1991 after a long illness. My father found the next woman of his dreams in an AOL Chat room. They married three months later and he now lives happily ever-after in West Texas where he can drive his big 'ol pickup truck across his ranch. I've lived in Fresno, Los Banos, Sacramento, San Francisco, Pacific Grove, Sunnyvale and San Jose. Okay, you can say I've lived in almost every region in California. I moved back to L.A. to help out my dad when he was ill. I miss Northern California tremendously.
EDUCATION:
I received two AA degrees in 1987 from College of the Canyons and Los Angeles Valley College in humanities and journalism, respectively. I attended CSU, Fresno and majored in journalism until my mother's illness. I left one semester shy of my BA in journalism. I was the Editor-in-Chief of the Los Angeles Valley College Valley Star during which we received top honors for my semester in overall performance and for our magazine special on the 10th anniversary of the pull-out from Vietnam.
EMPLOYMENT:
I started a computer consulting company in 1998 and have been happily self-employed since.
HOBBIES AND INTERESTS:
Too much of my time is spent in pool halls where I am honing my skills in 8 and 9-ball.
