Jennifer King Pon, Class of 1993

CURRENT LOCATION:

I am currently living with my husband in Berkeley, CA and loving it. The Bay Area is the most wonderful place that I have ever lived in (although, admittedly, I have not lived in very many places)

FAMILY LIFE:

I am recently married. I met Brian Pon while I was in college and spent 5 wonderful years with him before we got married on November 6, 1999. My mom and step-dad still live in Santa Clarita, where my step-father owns Abacus Computer Services on Soledad. My father lives in LA with his new wife. I have 2 nieces and a nephew (ages 7, 5 and 4) who I adore.

EDUCATION:

From '93-'97 I attended California State University, Sacramento, where I obtained a BA in Liberal Studies. While in Sacramento I helped run a designated driver program, funded by the Associated Students, called Safe Rides. I also spent a lot of time at the Child Development Center, volunteering with pre-school children.

EMPLOYMENT:

Since August '97 I have been working at Marin Day Schools teaching pre-school. Working with the children brings me more joy than I ever imagined it would. I adore my job, and I guess you can't ask for more than that!
