MISCELLANEOUS:
The most important things that I have learned since high school are:
what a prideful, selfish human being I was then and often continue to be. I think I was pretty snotty about being in AP classes and probably acted like I was better than others...which I wasn't and am not. I obsessed with wanting people to like me and to praise me.
I have learned, by God's hand, what a terrible sinner I am. He has given me GRACE (unmerited love and acceptance) when actually I deserved the opposite. He has done this because of what His Son, Jesus Christ did: lived a perfect life on earth and died on the cross, a death He did not deserve, to pay the penalty for MY sin. I wish I had grown up knowing this. But, I am SO glad to know it now! If there is (or was) anything GOOD in me it is thanks to our Wonderful God.
