Jon Bowman, Class of 1995
CURRENT LOCATION:
FAMILY LIFE:
EDUCATION:
After leaving the army for medical reasons in Dec. '99 I worked at my mom's law firm as a paralegal
for a while and went to school part time. The law firm broke up after 9/11 because insurance went
through the roof and so I decided to start going to school full time. I'm just finishing up my degree
in Military History and soon after that I hope to have my credentials done.
EMPLOYMENT:
I coached the D-line at Canyon for a year, now I'm the D Line Coach at Westminster with my Dad
and I'm the JV Co-head Coach/D Coordinator (trip out on that one). I've coached 7 All CIF defensive
linemen in 5 years. We kick a lot of butt, went to playoffs at 8-2 the last two years year and
my JV team was 9-1 (nobody scored on us during the first three quarters of any game, but we
never get shut-outs because we blow everyone out and I put all the kids that normally
wouldn't get to play in).
For real work I'm still working crap jobs until I get credentialed.
I also, oddly enough make a fair amount of money painting miniatures on commission and
on ebay; I've become a really good painter.
HOBBIES AND INTERESTS:
Coaching football, war gaming, reading books about war, NCAA Football on Xbox
(I'll tear you up)

MISCELLANEOUS:
You all ain't gonna believe this, I haven't had so much as 1 drink of alcohol since I left the army.
