Joshua Roberts, Class of 1991
CURRENT LOCATION:
FAMILY LIFE:
I am married to a rather beautiful woman by the name of Jolie
Melissa and we share our home with our two very spoiled Labrador Retrievers,
Zamboni and Slapshot.
EDUCATION:
After five years of working I finally decided that it was time to go
to college, so I earned my AA degree at Sacramento City College and will
graduate from CSU Sacramento in May of 2001.
After graduation I will be enrolling in the Single
Subject Credential program at Sac State and will teach High School
English once I finish. Upon employment, I plan on returning to Sac
State for grad studies in English, which will lead to my attendance at the
somewhat local UC Davis where I will earn
my Ph.D. in Literature so I can finally begin my career as a professor of
English.
EMPLOYMENT:
I am currently working for the law firm of Hefner, Stark and Marois as a
pseudo legal assistant. Upon graduating from High School, I took a job as a
bike messenger for a legal and political courier here in Sacramento, which led
to my rather lucrative but brief career as a
process server, which led to one job in a law firm, which led to my current
state of employment.
HOBBIES AND INTERESTS:
I am the president of the Ice Hockey Club at CSU Sacramento; We are members
of the Pacific Collegiate Hockey Association, and play against other
California Colleges and Universities; According to my wife I play golf more
than any good husband should, and I actually enjoy going to
college and plan on continuing my education for quite some time. Also, both I
and my wife enjoy playing and singing in the worship band at our church - we
actually aren't that bad!
MISCELLANEOUS:
I left Saugus at the end of my Junior year so some of you may not remember
me, but for those who do, I eagerly await an e-mail!
