Kristine (Nassif) Land, Class of 1983
CURRENT LOCATION:Brentwood, CA
FAMILY LIFE:
I have been married to my husband Brian for over 10 years and we have 5 kids--Katrina (8/94) and Kyle, Kourtney, and Kailey (triplets!) born 12/96, and Kristofer (5/00)
My mother still lives in Saugus in the same house, so I still get back to the Santa Clarita Valley often. I can't believe how much it has grown!
EDUCATION:
I have an A.S. degree in Math and Science from C.O.C. and then I attended Cal State, Hayward with a major in Nursing. I soon found out that being a nurse wasn't how I wanted to spend the rest of my life, so I dropped out in my Senior year, got married and moved back to Valencia for 2 years only to return to the San Francisco Bay Area.
EMPLOYMENT:
I currently work at Lucille Packard Children's Hospital at Stanford in the Special Care Nursery. It is a level 2 nursery for newborns that require extra medical care. (It's between an Intensive Care Nursery and a Newborn Nursery).
HOBBIES AND INTERESTS:
I love to work on my photo scrapbooks in my "spare" time. (With 4 preschoolers, there isn't much free time!). I'm very involved in the local Mothers of Multiples club, serving as the newsletter editor. (This shocks me since I hated English in school!) I am also involved in MOPS, which is Mothers Of PreSchoolers. It's a national organization for mothers with children 5 years and under. We have speakers and crafts (I'm craft challenged!) at our meetings. It's a great way to meet other moms in the area with kids the same age as yours.
