Lara Mayelian, Class of 1991

CURRENT LOCATION:

Just moved to Seattle, Washington after having lived in San Francisco for 12 years.

FAMILY LIFE:

I have been with my partner for over 8 years. We have one small cat named Curby. (Cuz we found him along the curb)

EDUCATION:

I received my Bachelor's Degree in Social Work in 1995 from San Francisco State University. I also just received my Master's Degree in Library and Information Science in 2006. Yup, I'm a librarian.

EMPLOYMENT:

With my Social Work degree, I worked for numerous Alzheimer's Associations in San Francisco. I really loved working with people suffering from the disease, but after almost 7 years, i had a bit of burnout. I am currently working as a public librarian for Seattle Public Library.

HOBBIES AND INTERESTS:

Reading (duh!), car camping, photography, and thrift-store shopping
