Michael (Ralph) Konrath, Class of 1989
CURRENT LOCATION:Mesa, AZ
FAMILY LIFE:
My marital status is single, but I have a beautiful girlfriend named Mandy Mazon. She is on the verge of making her first album, so everyone be on the lookout for it.
EDUCATION AND EMPLOYMENT:
After a couple of unproductive years at COC, I joined the Army and will have been in for 6 years this coming November. My favorite place is Hawaii where I was stationed for 3 years. I didn't see any action during the Gulf War, but I did get to do some humanitarian relief for the Island of Kauai when it was devastated during Hurricane Iniki in September 1992.
I am off of active duty now and am a full time student at Arizona State University in Tempe pursuing a Justice Studies Degree. I work for the Chandler Police Department on the weekends and can't wait until I can do it full time. I am still in the Army, but only as a reservist.
HOBBIES AND INTERESTS:
Include: camping in the 110 degree heat here in Arizona, keeping Daryl Massa out of trouble (still, after all these years), and playing the sports that I still love--baseball, basketball, and yes, tennis. I still feel bad about throwing my racket and breaking that guy's nose from Quartz Hill. It was a stupid freshman mistake!
MISCELLANEOUS:
My schoolmates will remember me as Ralph Konrath. My Army friends started calling me by my middle name, Michael, and it has stuck ever since.
