Dear Santa Clarita's 5th, 6th, and 7th Teachers:

"Sparkleshark" is a wildly entertaining and beautifully written play which will engage young teen students in relevant discussion about bullying, friendship, making judgements based on appearance, using people and the power of the imagination to heal and uplift. Award-winning playwriter Phillip Ridley has been called "Roald Dahl's successor."

It is the first production of the new Saugus High Youth Theater and we hope you will attend. Saugus Youth Theater will not charge any money during our inaugural year. Please RSVP to Carole or myself by February 14th. The play begins promptly at 1:00 so you would need to be in your seats at Saugus by 12:40. We can handle about 200 students per show.

You will be provided with a discussion guide to use before and after the show with your students.

We are excited about connecting with you!
