Apprenticeships

An apprenticeship is a semi-formal way of learning a skill or trade where apprentices work with experienced "journey level workers" to gain skill and knowledge. Most programs require at least 144 hours of classroom instruction per year. The length of an apprenticeship program as well as the number of openings varies.
