ASVAB Information

The Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) provides a unique opportunity to promote career exploration. The battery consists of ten different subtests that assess abilities in a wide range of academic and non-academic areas. In addition to results in a variety of areas, each student who takes the test receives a workbook; the workbook shows the student how to combine his or her results with interests and aspirations to generate a unique list of occupations.

No student is placed under any obligation to speak to a recruiter, much less enter the military.

Saugus High School traditionally offers the ASVAB twice a year.
