Sophomores register for the PSAT (Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test) for practice.
Read PSAT Student Bulletin. Take the practice test and score it.
Sign up for student search services to receive information on colleges and universities.
Attend the career/college night on Tuesday, October 30, 2001 at RHS.
Attend college representative presentations - go to college/career fairs.

Begin the college search. What colleges are best for your career interest?

Get involved in activities; join a club, athletic team or be active in your class activities work towards leadership positions.
Listen for ASB election times and GET INVOLVED.
Find out what ROP classes you can take once you turn 16 to get a head start on your career goals.

Listen to the bulletin for career speakers and sign up in the Career Center to listen and ask questions.

Study hard and prepare for finals.

If you don't have a job, try volunteering in your career area (community service hours).
Begin to study for the SAT (Check registration dates for next year - they may be in August!)
