This is a one year, college prep course and meets the university requirements for a laboratory science class for the UC and CSU systems. This course is intended to introduce students to the world around them and the processes that are continually occurring in all living things. Emphasis is placed on making biology relevant to real world applications in both higher education and in scientific careers.

Lab: Rock Pocket Mouse Evolution
First, read the background information on the assignment. Then, open the pdf file of the mouse data sheets - there are 4 cards of different images of mice in two locations. Follow the directions on the assignment (count how many light mice and dark mice are in each location on each card; then, try to arrange the cards in chronological order, from oldest to most recent).
