Friday in class we worked on this chart to review photosynthesis and cellular respiration. This will be turned in as part of the chapter 7 packet.
Remember - test Monday and Tuesday!
Mon = M.C.
Tues = FRQs
Due:

Assignment
Complete the data analysis of the enzyme catalysis lab. Remember, you are graphing the amount of hydrogen peroxide used over time.
Also, make sure you study for tomorrow's quiz on ch. 6!
Due:
Assignment
Today we did the Toothpickase activity, simulating enzyme-catalyzed reactions. Make sure you know how to use the formula to calculate rate of reaction, and you follow the directions for making a GOOD graph.
Answer the discussion questions by talking about what those scenarios would do to an ACTUAL enzyme-catalyzed reaction (not just the hypothetical scenario presented).
Happy almost Friday :)

We watched a video about cells and the cell membrane. There is a link to the video on the worksheet. Watch the video and fill out the worksheet - you will need to pause periodically to write in your answers.
Due:
Assignment
Today we learned some basic information about organic chemistry and functional groups. Use the powerpoint file that is posted on Google classroom to take notes on the worksheet. Then on the last page of the worksheet, circle and label any functional groups you find in the different molecules, and make predictions about the properties of each molecule based upon the functional groups it contains.
