Human Anatomy & Physiology - Periods 4 & 5

ANATOMY AND PHYSIOLOGY                                                                               Grades 11-12

Prerequisite: Biology and Chemistry, or consent of instructor.

Can fulfill the biological science requirement for graduation.

This course is designed for those students planning on attending a four-year university directly out of high school. The emphasis is on human physiological processes, and the maintenance of homeostatic mechanisms. Activities include laboratory investigating and dissections, lectures, and diagram IDs.

Human Anatomy & Physiology is a one-year course designed for college-bound students who desire to develop an understanding and appreciation of the human body.  Students will learn the structures, functions, and regulation of of human body systems.
