Honors English 10

Prerequisite: C or better in H English 9 or A in English 9 and approved honors application.

Fulfills the English requirement for graduation and the UC/CSU English requirement.

These courses have been specifically designed for the college preparatory student. In addition to providing a sound background in the historical development of American Literature, they also provide an intensive, sequential study of grammar and composition. Students will have the opportunity to learn more about library research, how to write formal papers, and how to increase their vocabulary. Students will do independent reading during the course and share their reactions with the class.
