Film I /Video II

MOVIE MAKING IA/IB                                                                                              Grades 11-12

Prerequisite: Video 1A/1B, IIA/IIB and teacher approval.

This course will provide students with the skills and technical knowledge necessary to produce a thirty-minute short film. Students will go through every aspect of movie production from development, pre-production, production, post production, and promoting activities. Students will be working in class as

well as on location, and are expected to be available for travel around the Santa Clarita valley. This course is repeatable for up to 20 credits (i.e. a student may take IA and IB in their junior year and IIA and IIB in their senior year).
