AP European History

AP EUROPEAN HISTORY A/B                                                                                  Grade 10

This course satisfies the modern civilizations requirement for graduation.

This intensive course is designed to prepare students for the AP exam.  It is expected that students will take the AP exam.  This course fulfills the state/district requirement for a modern world history course, replacing the standard Modern Civilizations class.  The course material requires an ability to read, write and think at a level expected of college freshmen.  The focus of the class is Europe, 1450 AD to the present.
