Course Description

LIBRARY SCIENCE                                                                                                    Grades 9-12

Prerequisite: Approval of Library Media Teacher.

Students will learn the day-to-day routines of maintaining a library media center, including processing new materials, keeping resource collections in order, repairing materials, and assisting in some clerical tasks. The Information Literacy Standards will be covered through a series of weekly lessons. Skills in word processing, computer technology, and filing are required.
