Welcome Parents!

Saugus High PTSO welcomes incoming and returning parents, students, and staff to the 2016/2017 school year. Parents often wonder how they can continue to be involved during their student’s high school years, and PTSO provides that opportunity. It’s as easy as becoming a member, attending the meetings, and/or volunteering when you can. Our meetings provide a forum for asking questions, the exchange of ideas and concerns, and a friendly environment to meet other parents. We offer various guest speakers that include topics such as college financial planning, college bound course selection, crisis counseling, campus issues, and drug abuse prevention, and much more. We welcome your suggestions for meeting topics and guest speakers. Our agendas include our principal, Mr. Bill Bolde, who provides updates and a forum for questions.

How Saugus High School has benefited from PTSO:

  • Staff Welcome Breakfast at the beginning of the school year
  • Annual holiday luncheon for the entire school staff
  • Community donations to programs such as Safe Rides and SCV Youth Project
  • Funding for the trophy and the $500 annual Teacher of the Year annual award
  • Beverages and snacks provided in reception classrooms at Prom
  • Hosts the annual holiday Boutique Fantastique to which 100% of the proceeds goes to fund our senior scholarship program
  • End of the school year teacher appreciation luncheon
  • Annual grant donations to each academic department

Our 27nd annual Boutique Fantastique is scheduled for November 5th and 6th. If you are interested in reserving a booth to sell your wares and help us raise funds for a very good cause, please email

We are looking forward to an exciting year for the PTSO!  We are dedicated to enriching all students’ experiences at Saugus High School regardless of GPA, athleticism, or interests. We welcome new ideas, and we look forward to seeing you all.  Please see our Meeting & Events page for a list of all the events we have planned for the year.

Thank you for your support,

Carol Y. Durden
