Saugus HS events and information: Week of May 20th - May 24th, 2019
The district has implemented a new Online Registration for the 2019-2020 school year. The William S. Hart Union High School District uses Online Registration (OLR) to collect District-wide forms and update student records for each school year. This replaces many of the forms previously provided in the paper packets distributed over summer break. Please note that Saugus High School may still require some site-specific forms to be filled out. These forms will be in the registration packet, which will be available for pick up on July 17, and 18 at Saugus High School. Please note that the first day of school is Tuesday August 13.
The window is now open for parents to complete the Online Registration process which can only be done through an Infinite Campus Parent Portal Account. If you do not have an Infinite Campus Parent Portal Account, please refer to the attachment to this email.

Attention parents of current Sophomores and Juniors: If you would like your student to take a COC class next year during First Period right here on campus, we are offering two dual enrollment classes in partnership with COC: Counseling 110 and Manufacturing 090. The classes will run during the Fall Semester from 8/13/19 to 12/6/19 and they will meet 4 days a week on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday during FIRST PERIOD. They will NOT meet on Wednesdays due to late start.
Counseling 110 – “Career/Life Planning” helps students identify potential career choices and college majors. The class also covers interviewing skills, resume/cover letter writing and job search strategies. This is a great choice for students who are starting to think about their next steps and planning for their future after high school. (Applies toward Associate Degree coursework).
