Saugus High School has a unique exchange program with Gaoxin No. 1 High School in Xi'an, China.  Begun in 2005, nearly 200 students and staff have been exchanged between the two schools over the last 11 years, enriching the lives of the students, their families and the host families at the receiving school.  With the formation of a supportive non-profit, Santa Clarita International Exchange, Inc.in 2012, scholarships are now available to help fund the costs for SHS students to study at our sister-school.  We are always looking for host families for the fall semester and for a 3-week summer program.  For more information contact me.  You might also want to look at the non-profit website.
