About Mrs. Hyke
As a graduate of Saugus High School, I am very enthusiastic about the excellent academic experience that students receive in the William S. Hart District and glad to be in my 15th year teaching at Saugus. I have a BS in Biological Science from Cal Lutheran University, and a MA in Secondary Science Education from Cal State Northridge.
Outside of school, I am Mommy to 2 little ones -
My son Jaxon is a very busy 6-year old who is in 1st grade, and Lyla, my baby girl, is now 4 years old.
I love camping and the outdoors, country music, and running! As of 2019, I've run 4 full marathons (Los Angeles and San Francisco) and numerous half marathons all over Southern California (the Tinkerbell Half at Disneyland is one of my favorites).
